CARBIDE COATING SYSTEM
Setting The Standard For The 21st Century

Creative Carbide Works RC-6000 carbide coating has been developed for down hole tools to give an effective bond and be as wear resistant as possible for these conditions.

RC-9000 is a combination of a signature designed solid tungsten carbide insert with RC-6000 sprayed between. This offers one of the best carbide coatings to date for rigorous and demanding down hole conditions.

The main factor of our carbide coating is the procedure in which it is applied. Creative Carbide Works CNC capabilities allows us to work with the tool in a more heat controlled environment with only .002 dilution rate, 60,000 psi bond strength. This offers less stress to the milling tools.

There are several advantages to an automated hardfacing format such as:

  1. It allows us to be extremely precise in the thickness of the carbide coating to be applied;
  2. Less product is used to reach the final goal, therefore, there is less waste of product, grinding and cleaning time is reduced to a minimum;
  3. The turnaround time of the tool is also greatly reduced. This machine has a wide range of movements, capable of handling many tasks. The RC-6000 can be applied from as little as .035 single pass up to .250 with two passes.

The new and improved second generation T2 was designed and manufactured completely in Creative Carbide Works facility. It is mechanically more efficient and electronically smarter.
